I have been traveling so am a bit behind the curve on this. I am sorry to hear that you ran into the “Buzzsaw” as our friend Kristina Borjesson calls it. It was even more distressing to hear that even within the progressive community, these kinds of things still happen. I believe that by holding ourselves to a higher standard, we “RISE.” As a community, it is our job to make sure KPFK maintains a very high standard of excellence by speaking truth to power. Even when the mirror must be turned on itself. (I have indicated my disappointment to the appropriate folks as a measure of my concern). Continue to speak the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. . . and reach out when you get the notion.
